As you may know, Uniiverse is developing a platform to enable the sharing economy.
We are building Uniiverse because we believe everyone has something extraordinary and unique to offer and share. Our vision is to encourage real-life interactions within today’s increasingly virtual world. By unlocking the power of sharing, we aim to revolutionize the way people interact, help each other and discover new things. We hope to build a product that will make the lives of millions a little bit better, and this requires a global vision.
Our aspirations, team – and now our investors – are truly global. We have incredibly talented people working collaboratively with us in 7 countries across 5 continents. We are in the midst of a financing round and are thrilled to have an impressive cadre of passionate and sophisticated investors in 5 countries across 3 continents!
We are developing a very unique and exciting technology and product and are looking for talented people to join our team. Our approach is user-centric, lean, innovative and fun. We are big proponents of bootstrapping and fans of Rework and The Four Steps to the Epiphany. If you are a developer, designer, marketer, or if you just get excited by the idea of disrupting the way people live together, we would love to chat with you. Drop us a line at: email@example.com
attention devs (and anyone who wants $1,000)! week thirteen
We’re hiring! If you or someone you know is looking for a job as a Senior Ruby Developer, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org! Since this position is our first hire and so core to the team, we’re giving out a referral bonus of $1,000* if the person you refer is hired.
On this note, we reconnected last week with some developer friends that we’ve crossed paths with in the past, and discussed the opportunity of working together.
Last week we focused our development energy on building-out scheduling in an increasingly robust way. We’ve come up with what we think is a very elegant solution, minimizing the number of forms required while accommodating all types of time-based inventory. This was an interesting problem to solve since it has strong repercussions to both the front-end and the back-end of the platform.
* Payable for full time employee hires (i.e. contractors and freelancers excluded), for this particular dev position, after the completion of any probationary period, if applicable. Does not apply to candidates with whom Uniiverse was already in contact.
